The Broomfield High School Jazz Band is a musical ensemble for all students interested in finding new ways to perform and express themselves through the medium of jazz music. The course is treated partially as a lab experience where students have the ability to learn about soloing and improvising in a controlled and guided environment. Composing and writing assignments are a regular part of the class.
