The Broomfield Band Parents Association, a non-profit 503c corporation whose mission is to support band programs at Broomfield High School. You may not know that band programs in Boulder Valley School District receive no funding from the school district except the Band director's salary. Therefore, we are holding a fundraising raffle to raise a portion of the approximately $40,000 needed for music, equipment, instructor salaries, competition fees, and other costs necessary to run Marching Band, Winterguard, and Drumline programs.
The raffle drawing will be held on Oct. 31, 2014 at Elizabeth Kennedy Stadium (on the grounds of Broomfield High School) during halftime of the football game. The winner need not be present to win. BBPA will notify them via the phone number on their ticket.
Prizes for the raffle are as follows:
1st Prize – Cash! Minimum $1,000 or 25% of our intake from selling raffle tickets (Max $3,750)
2nd Prize – Overnight Stay at the Hampton Inn & Suites, Downtown Denver
3rd Prize – Dinner and a Movie
